Bad at building trying to build mansion.
I've always been terrible at building, and I always have a hard time finding homes that I would love to move my sims into.

I recently watched this movie on netflix called "The Open House" starring Dylan Minnette from 13 Reasons Why, and the mansion they go to is absolutely gorgeous and I would love to have my sims be able to live in the home. However I dont have the skills to build it myself. Can anyone link me to tutorials or anything to help me out in building this mansion?

Thanks in advance

You can attach pictures when you make a post here, or just link to somewhere. I tried googling for it, but had too many houses that could fit.

I have two suggestions.
First, find a prebuilt house that is similar to the house you want. Make basic alterations in room design and decorations to help it look closer to the house you like.
Second, The Sims Supply has a series of building tutorials that I quite like: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mu9...05oV4kAtdXwHEZL

Is the big house in this series of pictures the one you are talking about? https://globalfilmlocations.net/201...film-locations/ If so, it gives the address and coordinates so you could use Google Earth or something similar to get outsides views from different angles. And/or, there are lots of pictures here: https://www.booking.com/hotel/us/wh...tal&type=total&. It's a big build but you could work on it a bit at a time. People at Mentoring 4 Builders or Creator Feedback would probably help, if you'd like to give it a try. I don't believe that you can post a request for someone else to build it for you here at MTS.

Take baby steps first. Build smaller and easier lots first to improve your building skills/confidence. That house would be a challenge for well experienced builders. I have done hundreds, maybe thousands of Sims builds since 1 and that house would be no easy task IMO. Walk first before running IMO.
