Default Mods for improving or modifying life states?
Throw them in here whether I decide to create a supernatural/occult/create run neighborhood.
Casting neutral spells doesn't change your alignment
No more magic aura for witches and warlocks
Playable Sims can ask to be witchify from resided witches/warlock
Longer Tempus Interruptus
No Reagents Needed for Spells
Deadly Neck Bite

Biting Neck satisfies Hunger need

The bat box already has that option under "flashing blue" (not every self-explainitory, but it works!).

By the way, is this meant to be a WCIF or a brainstorming thread? I originally thought it was a WCIF.

I would like to tackle the alien idea eventually. I happen to like the aliens twist but really they dont seem to offer much different in the game other than skin and eyes etc.

I would LOVE to be able to have it where if they are recognized as part alien by the game, they would have abilities.

I would already be happy if they, like had a special, genetic Alien hair colour to go along with the skin and eyes, maybe silver, pink or purple.

linking sim parts to other sim parts; it is possible with SimPE. the shipped version alien eyes references the shipped version alien skin.
to make the sim part available to only sims with a certain skin; enter the skin's code into the skin tone line of the sim part's property set.
to make the sim part available to only sims with a certain eye; enter the eye's code into the eye line of the sim part's property set.

I want something that is entirely possible, but beyond my current skill level--a werewolf default skin that accepts a specially designed werewolf overlay (like from a tattoo box). This would completely solve the problem of having to choose between custom-skinned sims having no werewolf fur, and alien werewolves having no green skintone anymore.

Additionally, it would also allow for the game's own werewolf system to work cooperatively with werewolves of different colors/clans.

I think the idea of this thread is for us to throw names of already existing mods, so SneakyWingPhoenix knows about them if ever he wants to start a unnatural 'Hood.

I might have been mistaken about eye line. have not found such a line when looking at various sim parts.
"skin tone" is actually "skintone".

Property Set applies to at least skin, hair, clothing.
eye; their resource is Texture Overlay XML.
not sure about the other kinds of sim parts.

hair colors can be linked to; "hairtone".

I'll add my mods to the list:

BO - Alien Experiments: Causes random things to happen when sims are abducted, from changing creature states to changing personality. Sadly, in my game no one has been too affected by this mod yet.
BO - Immunity Controller: Allows certain creatures to be immune from diseases/poison ivy and there's a file for allergies too.
Squinge's Cast Spells Faster: Does what the name says
Squinge's Friendship Not Needed To Buy: Does what it says, usually. A little temperamental for me, but ymmv.
Squinge's Witch No Change Outfit On Level Up: Does what it says
Faiuwle/Rufio's noalignmentreqandchangeonneutralcast: Alignment is not required to cast any spells, but alignment still changes when casting non-neutral spells. Can now be found in the signature of @ihatemandatoryregister. I like this one better than other mods that unlock all spells (I think there's one by Squinge, for example) because it doesn't remove the skill level required and your sims can still be evil or good, they just have access to all spells.
Faiuwle/Rufio's TabulaRasaHack: Tabula Rasa spell now also erases all relationships with other sims as well as erasing memories. Can now be found in ihatemandatoryregister's signature.
Black Spirit's Buyable Voodoo Doll + more powerful Voodoo: Does what it says; this is nice for evil witches who don't want to use good spells.
Black Spirit's Better genie lamp wishes: I personally just use the increased money wish mod, as the others I either don't need or make the lamp too OP.
Black Spirit's No name modifications for Witches and Warlocks: Removes the "evil witch," "good witch,"atrociously evil," etc., etc. monikers from witch names so my sims can have "secret" magical societies. (Secret's in quotes cuz they still use their broomsticks! I haven't found a mod that makes flying to lots nonautonomous.)
hmiller61615's Spectral Assistant Summoner: The evil witch can summon an assistant, but it only beats up sims. This allows all your witches to have a free maid/gardener/mechanic.
Mkvenner's Alternate Genie Youth Fix: There's a few mods that enable the youth wish, but this one lets my sims keep their relationships, occult status, etc.
HystericalParoxysm's Normal Skin for Good and Evil Witches: Does what it says. I don't mind the auras, but I can't stand the green and sparkly skins.
Kate at Parsimonious' Panacea: Fancy bottles for cures and potions to turn sims into creatures.
Of course there's Fight Club and Zombie Apocalypse from Pescado at MATY. One of these days, I'll get the guts to create more than one or two zombies at a time and let this mod take over...
Also, don't miss some Castaway Stories conversions at MATY (http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/s...c,10993.0.html): There's the Holy Grail (deages elders to adults) and the Shaman Brewing Bench (makes 3 potions: a love potion, elixir of life, and penguin party).

Can anyone confirm that these are in fact two different wishes, and than both work as advertised, etc? I can't imagine they work too well alongside one another, as they would both simply show up as "youth," correct?

Definitely don't put both youth wishes in your game. They should conflict. Maxis didn't finish a youth wish and so there are several mods (including these) that enable that function. The "problem" is that when sims are turned into teenagers, they lose their occult status, jobs, etc., and all the other stuff they're not supposed to have in a vanilla game. (Which is probably why Maxis didn't finish it). Anyway, that's where Mkvenner's version comes in. It lets you keep all that stuff when sims are aged down.

Both versions *should* let adults and elders turn into teens, but it's been a while since I've used Black Spirit's so don't quote me on it.

Black Spirit's says it turns elders into adults; I copied and pasted that part from the post: "allows elders to turn back into adult sims." I was just thinking that seems a lot less messy/buggy than aging anyone down into a teen, so maybe I'd actually want that version in my game.
