Default Things I've Seen/Heard/Read About in The Sims 3: Supernatural

Welcome to Moonlight Falls!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
...Where strange things happen by the light of the moon. Create supernatural beings from menacing werewolves and cackling witches, to mischievous fairies and more intriguing vampires. Then stalk the night, use your wand to cast spells, claw the furniture and more. You can mix dozens of elixirs that can turn Sims into zombies or transform them into gold. Share your enchanted brews with any friends who have The Sims 3! Spooky surprises are in store for you in the world of The Sims 3 Supernatural!

-Play as supernatural Sims: Create witches, wizards, werewolves, more intriguing vampires, and fairies, each with their own magical abilities, traits, and interactions.

-Explore the town of Moonlight Falls: Discover what mysteries and abilities are revealed by the light of the full moon. Will your Sims freak out or become more powerful?

-Hone your magical crafts and share the enchantment: Learn to cast spells and find rare ingredients to brew elixirs, so you can charm or hex your Sims’ lives. Send your magical elixirs to any of your friends’ games who have Sims 3. Your Sims can hone their psychic abilities and build a career as mystic fortune teller.

-Discover supernatural items: Race around the arena on your broomstick, visit the gypsy caravan, or preen in front of your magic mirror. Even awaken the classic character of Bonehilda, the quirky skeletal maid. With tons of new enchanted objects, what will happen next?

-Deck out your home in gothic style: Add a secret lair with the sliding bookcase door and fill your home with creepy new furniture.

-Zombification: Mix a special elixir to create shuffling, brain-hungry monsters of your very own. Chomp on other Sims to spread the love and wreak havoc. Don’t fret, you can always concoct an elixir to change your Sims back.

Adamant, check out the speculation sticky thread at the top of the forum. There was a bunch of code embedded in the last patch that pretty much spells it all out. Haha. Puns are funny.

It's a huge leak. Only in the full patch, not the incrementals. They've since taken it down, but I've got ep7 effects and werewolf sliders.

So, they've taken the patch down?

If so, then I'm glad because I hadn't yet downloaded it and now I don't have to deal with those unwanted features.

Because they're so difficult to ignore? You only see them if you really go looking for them. It's a shame I can't keep these, they'll be patched away most likely. But the nose slider, jaw slider and ear slider are useful for making better faces, not just werewolves.

Werewolf sliders?!

Oh man! That's a big deal! A magic expansion where the creature isn't wizards/witches? Perhaps two creatures...Can you imagine?! Oh, I am excited!

Well, I mean, the game uses those extra sliders when generating Sims, right? I don't want Sims with those ugly werewolf features running around my towns!

There were zombies too. And witches. And some sort of reference to fairies.

Oh god! That's awesome! I wonder if it's just going to be a free-for-all Mythical Creature pack. I would love to have Fairies. And Zombies. And a ghost Zombie Fairy Vampire Witch Genie who turns into a werewolf at night!

I am personally extremely happy and excited that this EP is next! Something I am wondering though:

I wonder which one is the new "official" Lifestate? Werewolves, Witches, Fairies, or Zombies? Signs point to either Witches or Werewolves. Maybe any Sim can be a Witch, the Lifestate is the Werewolf, and spells/potions can transform your sims into the other lifestates?

Nooo!!! They're going to be patched out? I hope there will be another leak just for a nod from the devs. Y'know some easter eggs, logos/icon, anything just to keep the interest fueled. :P

I followed the discussion on the expansion thread, so thought I'd mosey on here to join the fun and keep up with any more news in the future... Cannot even begin to articulate how excited I am that this may be the seventh expansion - magic, zombies, WITCHES, fairies, shapeshifters and my beloved WEREWOLVES!!! Please, on everything that is holy, let this be true and let this be the one hell of an expansion that renews my faith in Sims 3; I'd rather all the occult goodness EA can shove at me now! Weather would be cool, but I can wait on that - MUST HAVE MY WEREWOLVES BACK!! Please, I beg of you!

MAGIC! WEREWOLVES!
My Harry Potter experience will be complete! This is going to be SO awesome! I was really, really hoping for a Magic EP but didn't think it would happen because of the EA Store. I REALLY hope this is all true, and it looks promising.

According to the STBL, hidden or not, Lycanthropy is a 10 level skill. Alchemy is not hidden, as it has Skill Journal text.

The brow slider is the BEST thing ever for some of Port Piston's "monsters".

Interesting so this is pretty much confirmed? maybe this will make up for SHT, which was basically NL expansion anyways. If they do make an magic Expansion well...

It depends where I am at, my graphics card is slowly destroying itself and I will probably need a new one (I was told this, and also told it could be months before it destroys itself), and with the upcoming three months I may not able to afford a good, same or better graphics card then the one I have now. I probably won't buy one until like July (Which I think Magic might be out then or afterwards, yeah probably way afterwards), so if it's good I will be getting it for sure.
