Default ....please dont kill me.
FOR IT IS.

...
ANIME.
oh yes.
so generic, you could walk out into your backyard and step in some.

ALSO: apologies for the page stretching ._. too lazy to resize.

AAAAALLLLL of the art i will post here is watermarked. watermarked with my numerous screen names on different art sites.
ahhhh...i used to post to deviantART. but, i hated it after a time. >>
they ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS change the goddamn categories setup, so i said LOLSCREWIT and left.
i do have a y!gallery account with images that i am not obliged to place here, but will tell you my username there in case you want to go see by your own will. [ Videlicet ]

and of course, im sure it goes without saying that nobody may use my images, parts of them, or w/e for their own purposes without my permission. please be nice about it, people, art thieves are not likable. ):

i probably wont explain a lot about the pictures, either. uh, because usually im tired of telling the same thing over and over again. xD
but PM me if youre really interested.

ok then! on with the show.
beneath each picture i will determine the gender of the character above, so as to avoid any confusion. my people are rather androgynous.

KageHana, my werefox on LMS Perfect World: female.

sketch of a character named Sori: female.

Death Note OC, Shizuka Amai: female.

axiom: male.

random sketch art of axiom. also male. xD

Aww, I doubt anyone will kill you! I should hope not anyway, lol. This style is popular for a reason. :D

I think my favourite would have to be Shizuka Amai, great lines!

Looked really good to me, I'm not an artist but that doesn't mean my opinion doesn't count does it? haha

They look nice, but I'm not an artist and not even familiar with the anime style of drawing. I noticed that Shizuka and Axiom have their eyes drawn on top on the hair layer, looks a bit strange.

Whoa, too much black for me! But I like them, and they have nice hairdos.

These are really good. I used to do a little bit of anime style art, but not as good as yours.

And I also play a werefox.

these are really really brilliant ... but I noticed that when some have pieces of hair hanging down, the eye is drawn over the hair?

Smile.
It's easier than explaining why you're sad.

@Suicidia: I like the way you're coloring/shading/highlighting, mostly at the last one. <3

@x-tashi-x: It's quite common that that is done when it comes to Manga/Anime.
Why I don't quite know how to put it.

Really nice!!!
But I suggest you put some kind of opacity when the hair is on the eye just to look like the eye is not on the hair or just to continu the lineart in the with of the hair

because i hate it looking like the eyeball is missing. o_O;;
like in the last one, if i went ahead and solidified that piece of hair...he'd have no eyeball. itd look even weirder than if the eye popped out of his hair, imho. xD

the problem with that, is it messes up the perception of the eye color.
say for instance, i wanted to do that with someone who had grey eyes. the extra shadowing thatd be added with the 'transparent' hair, would make it look black.
or itd make his light blue eyes look darker....etc, etc.

i realize it looks odd, but i cant find a self-satisfactory way to do it. xD
*picky as hell.*

thank you all for your comments.
