Default My Mansard Recolor worked! Sorta of?
So a few weeks ago, I was trying to recolor the mansard roof. I was unsuccessful however.. or so I thought. In the game, the recolor is there, but only up close. if I zoom away, the color changes to the yellow roof. The color preview shows up as yellow as well. Any one know how I can fix this? I really want to have my passwall roof!

Ok so I figured out I need to recolor ALL of the subtextures, not just the 256x512. Is this the same rule for doors?

How did you import the recolor in SimPe? If you "replace" the texture image that's what happens - the recolor works only when you're close.
You should use the option "Build DXT" instead
Check this tutorial, especially the part 3 if you need more informations

You already made a thread about this here: http://modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=616312 - I can merge the threads for you. It's better to use your old thread in a case like this to ask new questions.

If you're not importing via DDS Utilities (as Drew says), you need to update all the sizes by right-clicking on the texture in SimPE and choosing 'update all sizes'. It's the same for all recolours done that way.

Using the DDS Utilities import though gives you better quality textures.

I no longer come over to MTS very often but if you would like to ask me a question then you can find me on tumblr or my own site tflc. TFLC has an archive of all my CC downloads.
I'm here on tumblr and my site, tflc
