Default Unknown Subhood Attached to New Neighborhoods
Hello, I'm trying to follow this tutorial to make some templates for vacation hoods. In post #3, it says:

"You should only have two files in the main neighborhood folder: your neighborhood package and your neighborhood picture. If you have any other packages in this directory, something is wrong and you will not be able to use this neighborhood."

"Your Characters, Lots, and Storytelling folders should be empty, and your Thumbnails folder will have one package."

I've renamed the stealth hood templates listed in the tutorial to stop them being created (I can't use AGS) but when I create the hood there is still an extra suburb attached to it:

I opened this suburb in SimPE, and it seems to contain the universal NPCs. Is it still safe to use this hood to create an attachable vacation hood? If not, where is this suburb located in Program Files so I can stop it being attached?

Thanks for any help

No its not safe you must only have the hood package and no sub-hoods.

You must have missed one of the sub-hoods.

The universals are in every single neighborhood because they're in the game files; they didn't come with this template. Without knowing what it would generate, you'll just have to open the relevant program files and check each stealth neighborhood to find that one that didn't get renamed.

One thing you could do is go ahead and load the neighborhood in the game, which will cause the stealth hood to add its content. Then you can tell by what characters are added which stealth hood is the problem.

Ugly is in the heart of the beholder.

I looked at the package again, and it turns out it was the Exotic Destinations stealth hood.
I renamed the NeighborhoodTemplate folder to NeighborhoodTemplate_stealth, but Exotic Destinations was still being added. So I renamed V001 to V001_stealth and now it looks the way it should.
