Default Does changing the appearance of your pets in the mirror change their genetics?
So I had adopted a purebred collie for this family, and then later adopted a puppy from the phone. I didn't realize he would also grow into a purebred collie, so I was wondering if I could change his appearance in the mirror and if it would change his genetics, too. I know change appearance with the mirror doesn't change sims' appearances, but is it the same for pets? Or does it change pets genetics unlike sims'?

Yes it does change them, at least it has always done it for me.
