This user has the following games installed:

Sims 2, University, Nightlife, Open for Business, Pets, Seasons, Bon Voyage, Free Time, Apartment Life
Default How do you put .rar files ingame?
I haven't figured out how to make .rar files show up in the game... (They are my enemies!) But since I can't extract .rar files I put them in folders and hid the extensions (or whatever it was) But it can't extract still. How do I make .rar files work ingame? (Yes I have read everything for fracking idiots lol... But I didn't see what you do to them!)

You right click the file to extract and put the .package files in your downloads folder or subfolder in your downloads folder.
It's in the FAQ you read..on this page:

I'm worried that my latest Salvation Army donation will result in homeless people looking like sluts from the 90s.

Although I would recommend Ultimate Zip or 7Zip over WinRAR any day. Both have free versions; 7zip has the advantage of being able to handle the super duper compression of the 7zip format, too.

You're gonna have to be more specific than that, and please also make your own thread, not least because the new thread page is full of useful info.

I see this was far solved but I thought I could add something. I use funzip.net to open .zip and .rar files online for free. It's very easy and opens them. The only catch? If the .rar contains a bunch of package files, you gotta download them all one by one.

@SimmerSeason2

Who would want to download files again when 7zip does the same thing on your computer.
When the question is answered and its an old thread please leave it alone.
