This sounds much more realistic. Very useful. If I can ever get my game up and running again, I'll have to try this out.

Thaks this sounds great and I’m all for the Sims being more realistic, I always felt EA never tried to make it more real, they had the whole game notion stuck in their head, I like the Sims because it can appear real, except for motherlode which I wish I could do to my bank account at the moment.

Does it work on females too? I agree totally with what zymish said. I'm looking forward to trying it out, if it works for females.
Also, what about teens and children??? =^J^=

Is it possible to package both mods seperately? I'd like the first part of this mod, but not the second part.

Thank you. Is it compatible with ACR, though?

Yes it works for both males and females, same way.

Teens are affected exactly the same as adults (or YA, or elders); children are not affected at all, and I have no plans to allow them to.
If you meant interactions between teens and adults, also, I have a version which enables this modification between teens and adults as well; this and a couple other mods by Twojeffs and Jenfold, up at Simbology, and you'll have all the teen/adults interactions you may want :D.
I didn't include this version here because I wasn't sure if a teen/adult thing would be accepted here or I have to submit it to SXS2; as soon as I'll know for sure, I will do

@Zruda_Trinact: I'm not sure right now; there are a few different BHAVs involved. When I'll be home this evening, I will have a look at it.

@Gwenke33: Yes, it is; it will not affect ACR socials, though, as they are completely indipendent.

Have you compared this with Pescado's Romance Mod? Are there overlaps?

There probably is a conflict with it, yes. The Romance mod has superior handling of this, in that the inappropriate reactions will simply be rejected, resulting in no crush/love business. The Romance Mod also corrects the issue where rejected advances still alter the target's preferences, allowing a sim to be flipped purely through repeated rejected attempts, so that even being LOOKED at inappropriately is enough to alter a sim's preferences.

What Pescado said, yes: it will conflict with romancemod, since they share some BHAVs, modded differently.

BTW

That is intended, indeed <grin>. Insist, insist, insist again and again: sooner or later that lovely dude will fall... in my little sim-world, they are made that way :D.

Hmmm... I try not to download mods like this one but this might be worth downloading into my game...

I don't get why so many Simmers hate Marsha Bruenig. She actually grows up to be quite pretty if you allow her to.

This mod it´s very cool. I´ve been waiting for something like this.
But where can I assign a new sim this preference? In the new family screen? How does it works?

Now THIS is awesome! I'm surprised Maxis didn't just make it this realistic from the beginning. Very good job, and thank you.

I like that there are different ways to set up the game. I'm leaning towards this one.

Actually, I'd like to see the target's gender preference evolve in slightly randomized ways, so that some sims would come around, some would not, and some would become actually homophobic. Never mind whether it's realistic or not: for some issues I like more realism, and for some issues I like less -- it's all about which game I want to play. In this case it would be interesting to wonder, along with my poor little gay Sim, what exactly is going to happen when they flirt.

Great now this makes the game more challenging and realistic and most of all not boring.

Thank you.
To clarify: If I am also using the ACR Plugin 'Maxis Cheating Fix', this mod will do nothing, right?
(from the description: This plug-in for ACR will force the interaction tests for all autonomous Maxis romantic interactions to follow most of the same rules that autonomous ACR interaction follow)

Very interesting mod.
It makes sense to flirt with someone without caring about his gender preference, after all. One can be attracted by someone else not even knowing his/her preference. Accept or reject the flirt is another story.
The second part of the mod is interesting too. Not any romantic interaction will trigger a crush if the recipient is not interested, but it does not have to lower the relationship.

Too bad I can't try it just now but you have a great idea there
