They are actually photos of the screen of what I assume is a monitor that the game was running on, so they're not resolution pretty. It does show some of the new panels and stuff though, there's a shot of the beach and other stuff. Enjoy

..And they are all hotlinked..

This looks REALLY promising, even though the UI puts me off, I know it'll look different by the end though .
The shading and style of the whole game is so INVITING!
I WANT IT NOW!! :p

Picture #23 shows what looks like some kind of protest outside the town hall. I thought that was interesting

This is really cool.
I like all the options for work, like 'join protest'. That's so neat.

Awww, there won't be any fears system at all? I'm really going to miss that. I like ruining some of sims lives... I found it more fun then making them happy at times.

The graphic user interface is still unfinished like the early TS2 previews !

These previews aren't amazing because they show nothing insteresting, it's too much early !

It may be the NPC only, just a little event when your sim work !

I'm not too crazy about the current UI. It's too cluttered at the moment but I'm sure that will change greatly when it is released. I am loving the social and converstation pie menus. It seems like we will have lots of options.

I know someone said that it all looked really empty, I thought the same thing but then I noticed that most of the shots were taken in the early morning (7am-10am). Most likely the other sims are still doing things in their homes. Hopefully things get a little more populated later in the day. Plus, I think we're used to the way TS2 runs.... You enter a community lot and suddenly NPCs start popping up everywhere. I think there are more "real" sim characters with TS3, and they're off living their life somewhere else. (I hope, lol)

I hadn't thought of that. I wonder if one's computer specs will also effect how large the population is. It makes sense that not that many sims would be out and about in the early morning. They would either already be at work/school or eating breakfast or something else in their own homes.

No, the computer take care only of what we'll see ! The other things in the homes should be like the bubble of the dormies room in University !

Sweet! Thanks for clarifying. I was a bit worried that I would have a ghost town.

Looks quite promising!

It's probably an earlier version of the game than the one they're showcasing in screenshots too, it seems less advanced than what we've seen on the website (unless they're being a bit sly with their marketing again!)

ummm I'm still not sold on this game yet, it looks okay but nothing that's making me feel like I need to rush out and stalk Gamestop. lol. I think the dediciding (sp) factor for me will be: The new age group, if there is one, and I'm crossing my fingers that it will be a middle age.

#22 Old 21st Aug 2008 at 1:48 AM
Young & Scrappy there is a new age group: Young Adult - they will be the default group too.
