I know we've all dreamed about Sims...but how many of you have dreamed about Sims, not as Sims, but as real people? Last night I dreamed that about the Curious brothers from Strangetown. Pascal and Vidcund were expert witnesses in some high-profile court case that had started out being about the "teaching creationism in schools" issue, but quickly devolved into a case involving the civil rights of alien hybrids. Yes, alien hybrids -- this was the Sim-world made real, with all of its thematic elements intact, including alien abduction and pollination. This became an issue, because apparently the dream was set shortly before the start of the Strangetown story; Pascal had been abducted and was pregnant with the alien baby, but was trying to hide it so as not so sabotage his credibility in the case. Due to the rarity of alien abductions, he was managing to pass as fat (he was only showing a bit), but the judge...well, she was clearly based on a horrible professor I had last year but with an added dose of the worst kind of religious conservatism, she hated aliens, and was blatantly biased for the other side. She postponed lunch break and harassed Pascal until he fainted in court, causing Vidcund to blow up at her and Lazlo to freak out in the spectators' gallery. Pascal woke up during the shouting and managed to keep up the act by saying he was fine and just needed a drink of water and something to eat, but then after recess the other side's expert witness turned out to be Loki Beaker. Vidcund was furious about this treachery to science, and said so, resulting in him being ordered out of the courtroom. Then Loki and the judge both started picking on Pascal until...yes, he fainted again. Cue Vidcund rushing in, shouting "Leave my brother alone!" I woke up at that point, but I got the feeling the jig was up. The most amazing part was seeing the Curious brothers' faces as real human faces, with real, non-stilted emotion, and hearing them speak English, not Simlish. Oddly, I haven't even played them for a long time...but I do think Pascal's sweet. Oh, and it wasn't until breakfast that I realized there was a subliminal joke involved in the trial starting out being about creationism...because for Sims, that is the origin story! My subconscious is cleverer than I give it credit for sometimes! |

I actually had a dream the other week of meeting most of the high-up Admins from here on a sort of college campus like place. |

Once. I can't remember it very well, but I was in my room and all of a sudden three of the sims I had tortured days before(I liked locking them into maze-like rooms with only a couple of benches and a fridge, things like that) appeared before me, presumably coming from the computer screen(!?) and started beating me up. Then they'd leave the room while I was in the floor, in pain. And I'd get up, only for that blonde bastard to come again and start punching the crap out of me. And they were angry, and probably swearing at me in simlish and calling me names. While I was like "I AM SORRY, I AM SORRY I AM SORRY" I never played torture-the-sims again. |

I Love my Sims yes, but I have no problem with separation of them from my "conscious or unconscious" mind, therefore no I do not dream about the Sims. I only see my Sims when I play my game, once I am finish playing a session with them, they stay in never- never- land. The "Only" person I want to visit me in my dream is "Brad Pitt." Lmao

No but I dream about famous creators in the community. I dreamed I met Delphy lol, he was at a big master computer type thing looked like it was from Star Trek or something and he had a desk chair and he just turned around and stared at me. |

Benjamin Franklin said "Early to bed, early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy, and wise" yet this was the same guy staying up until 2 am socializing in Parisian salons. |

Well, I once thought there was a girl in my class that looked an awful lot like Dina Caliente. Beady green eyes. Dark skin color. Pale blonde hair. Same hairstyle. Yep. Dina Caliente. It's not a dream either. I swear it's a real girl in a real class. |

I can't see myself ever dreaming of my sims as real people. I don't even feel my mind is creative enough to put the simulated body types in the sims into real facial structures. The only thought I've ever had outside my game regarding my sims is more along the lines of "oh, this is how I should advance ...'s story" or how I should try to make ... house. |

Wow! Does that mean you don't get the game-images-behind-closed-eyelids thing either? I thought that was the inescapable curse of the habitual gamer since Space Invaders. |

It's hard to imagine them as real people, since they look a bit too cartoony for me to take into a physical perspective. My sims would make scary people, though. |

Simblr. I'm also on GoS. I go on here for the community, not really for the downloading. Just being honest. |
