They are being redesigned, but you'll only see the WIPs if you're using the alpha theme (the one with the banner about not working fully at the top). If you're using one of the normal themes and the menus aren't working, then you have something blocking our javascript - a browser plugin, browser setting or security program are the usual suspects.

What browser do you have Miss Simpleton?

Tumblr - Yes, I have a blog. :)

<Corsix> Why 'mod the sims 2' when you can mod 'mod the sims 2'?

It's all the time for me now and sometimes the "what do you want to do" link also doesn't appear. I use IE9 but now downloaded Google Chrome and it works for it.

I'd also prefer to use IE. I cant figure out how to download anything right in Chrome (it acts all goofy and goes in the wrong place - not to mention it's a pain opening a new browser for 1 site.). Let's not forget despite what the techies like most people still use IE. A lot of us aren't computer experts.

I just double checked in IE8 and it works fine. Do you get any javascript errors?

I've tried it in IE and Foxfire. The navigation buttons don't work at all. Took me 2 days to finally navigate to the forums and see what was happening.

For me, the buttons highlight when I press them, but nothing happens. The arrows beside "News,Help,Create, etc" don't work at all, or highlight when I click on them.

I get no errors or anything. Nothing happens.

User tools and drop down works fine. Home works fine. I just can't navigate the site.

I can't. It asks if I want to open or save it and then gives an error.

When using IE9 the navbar won't work from the modthesims.info url. If I click the Home link on MTS (modthesims.info/index.php), wait for it to load, then the navbar links work. If I don't wait for the Home link to load, the url changes to http://www.modthesims.info/#navbar_download and links don't work. This also applies when moving from different areas, say Downloads to Create. Works the same whether logged in or not.

I also get the save or open question, same as MattShizzle.

Okay I narrowed it down using IE9s dev tools - turns out I'd added some javascript console commands that dont work in IE. I've removed them now (it was only for debugging) and for me it works fine. Please check and let me know.

Thanks!

No difference. For me if I try to click on the links it does like HL said, except waiting doesn't help. They never work and neither does the arrows for dropdown in IE. Been like this for days now constant and for a week or so before that off and on.

the address is this when I hit download for example:
http://www.modthesims.info/newreply...navbar_download

I think the problem is that the drop arrows arent working for me but I dont know why

I have the same problem with IE 9. I think this is the first time I've logged in to MTS since upgrading from IE 8. I've cleared my browser cache, turned off pop-ups, turned off script blocking (disabled XSS filter). Nothing made a difference. Only the Home button works on nav bar. If I click on a specific item it goes to the page, but the left border and top menu only are in the frame but none of the content (and buttons don't work). If I am able to click on a category of downloads, the page opens - buttons don't work and the picture of the item doesn't load (constant little circle of arrows spinning).

At the bottom of this reply box beneath "quote message in reply" is a spinning circle indicating something isn't loading. I would appreciate any suggestions short of going back to IE 8.

Thanks, Kitte

I still haven't been able to access most of the content on the site - none of the CC. Does anyone have suggestions to fix it?

Thanks,

I resolved the problem with help from the Microsoft Support site for IE 9. I used Microsoft Fix It to reset IE 9 to default settings.

I'm having this issue right now, it happened out of the blue. I'm using Firefox 13.0.1 on Windows 7, javascript is enabled. I've tried disabling and reenabling it, and also tried restarting my PC, no dice. What's weird is that it works fine in Chrome. I'm using Blue Skies theme, although I've tried changing it to Calm storm and still have the same problem.
