Yes, that's the one. I found it on my other computer and moved it. I had hoped to download it since that seems easier than moving files around between computers. I wish there was a link to leave for others since it's a worthwhile hack to have to keep the game running better.

Have you seen a hacked dresser that allows your Sims to get buyables for free and from the convenience of their homes?

C&C did that very neat, 1-tile, pile of folded clothing that functioned as a wardrobe and could be placed on most surfaces. They made a version that included buyable clothing too.
There were 3 different looks for it. 1 a neutral colored folded clothing pile, 1 a colored folded clothing pile, and 1 was a bundle of messy laundry. They all function the same and the buyable clothes are free.
I did have a clothing rail and a couple of wardrobes that allowed buyable clothing but I can't remember off hand who made them. I loved the neatness of the C&C ones and used those more often than not.
C&C's read-me's all state that stuff can be posted anywhere, so if you can't find it with the links you have for the C&C items, I'll post it here, just let me know if you want it uploaded
Unless you were thinking of a specific dresser?
I'm sure there was a computer that allowed buyable clothing at home too, but I might be thinking of TS2.
'Another f***ing sim site' had the 'downtown wardrobe at home' mod.

Thanks for all the tips! I thought I saw those pile of clothes at the C& C yahoo groups site, but didn't realize they included buyables. I'll check that out as well as the site you mentioned at the end.

I don't think anyone has added this site yet. It has great add-on programs that fix and improve the game such as a fix for the frozen in-the-traffic bartender Waylon who stops traffic in Studio Town:

Did anyone mention Natural Elements? Linda released alot of goodies over the past few weeks. Simply beautiful!

http://naturalelementssims.net/

Inspiration Loft has gone now (my second favourite site) but Neighborhood 99 has Leeah's stuff in a few zips, some is also on offer at Natural Elements forum which has now gone to Yuku.

Agro's forum is more or less abandoned these days but a little of his stuff can be found at Natural Elements forum.

I just wanted to add to the list as this was a site I used to goto for items and sims. Nice to know it's still up after all this time.

Actually, the site it's on was posted earlier. Funny thing is, you posted it. Liugno is in the name of many of Gnohmon's downloads. I recognize it because I've been downloading quite a few of Gnohmon's stuff.

And this site has some magic related stuff, as well as a vampire mod.

All I have other than stuff that's already been listed. Now I need to go CC shopping.. Well, shortly anyways.

I thought this was answered somewhere already, but here you go.....http://ts1depot.hfguide.net/getcoolstuffarchive.html for "official downloads". Currently, I can't find the patches although I've stumbled on them before. You might try a search for the specific patch you want/need, because each expansion patched the one before.

Hey, I remember I used to have this mod that allowed sims to "play in bed" in any double bed. Does anyone know where I can find it?

No...I really thought you had to have the right kind of bed because of the animations associated with it....

I'd imagine somewhere like Openlea or 8th Deadly Sim, but I agree with Ver De Terre, the animation is attached to the item.

Hi guys!
Do you know any mod/cheat/hacked objects to make easier love relashionship?
Mad Poster
#40 Old 13th Mar 2013 at 10:56 PM
Not exactly, although a love relationship is easier to achieve if you start with a friendship, in fact, it's ridiculously easy in The Sims. Become friends and start flirting or take the friend out to dinner and/or drinks and you have a new love interest.

Friendship is easier when interests are similar. There are many hacked objects to influence interests if you don't want to take the time to read the magazines from Downtown. One is the "free the magic" object found here .

The game itself provides ways to cheat your way to love by use of the magic genie lamp or the concoction station. I once had a scientist who never got to know any of his neighbors, but who managed all of his promotions because he collected so many love interests through the love potion that he created at the concoction station. There are also magic spells available to witches and warlocks that augment friendship and make Sims fall in love.

For instant romance there's this, the mail order spouse , which is a real hoot because it delivers a spouse in a box. It's halfway down the page.

Hi VerDeTerre! Thank u for posting and for your explanation. I know how relationships work in TS1, but this time I'm definely unable to make Michael Bachelor falling in love o.o the concoction station never gives me the red potion (only one time, but it broke down just before drink the potion) and the genie always burn o flood the house -.-'' it's so annoying.
Anyway, I already have the "Free the magic" but I don't have known that interests influenced sims relations
And thank u for "the mail order spose", that page contains many useful objects!
Thank u again

I don't play TS1 but I see this site recommended a lot elsewhere but not mentioned in the thread. Has a lot of content from dead and pay sites, sort of a combination booty/graveyard for TS1.
http://www.ctosims.com/

my tumblr - sim pics and downloads
my dreamwidth - ts2 downloads
linkdecrypter - bypass adfly and other harmful pay per click download link hiders

You beat me to it, I was coming back to add that one to my post.
CTO Sims has the program that will turn a child into a teen then adult. Plus many more mods and programs.

Michael Bachelor is a bit weird and it is hard to make him fall in love. Changing his interests should help, but I feel his astrological sign is also part of the problem. You might want to "design" a Sim mate for him in your neighborhood. The concoction station does break regularly. I've always just purchased new ones or had my Sim fix it and keep playing until I get the potion I want. The way to play the Genie is to either install fire alarms everywhere or simply to exit the game without saving if the result was negative. Good luck with Michael! I admit that I often replace him altogether.

Thank u everybody for your help
@VerDeTerre: in the end I managed to get him married to one of my Sims but I had to use the "Free the magic" (that is ABSOLUTELY fantastic!) and give her two spells anyway, thanks again

I haven't played TS1 in ages, but if anyone is looking for stuff made to be used with Sim Logical's apt system for Sims 1, this yahoo group is devoted to that:

Did anyone ever make a mod for gaining skill points on a community lot? I've discovered it's the mod I miss most of all for Sims 1.

Edited to avoid double posting: I just found this handy little program for unzipping files to the right locations--http://matthewgkeller.com/projects/simfilemaid/index1.html
