Gamescom live broadcast thursday 22nd August

I thought I'd make a seperate thread so we can discuss what happens at this particular event as it happens

What expectations do you guys have?

I believe there is 1 hour 15 minutes left?

Hehe no problem, I had to double check too because of the hour difference in the starting time.

I didn't get to watch on Tuesday, but it was pretty short anyway. I am hoping the presentation will be a bit longer today, but I have no expectations, just keeping an open mind.

I've never seen a live broadcast like this for any game, I have no idea what it's about. Will it be some person talking while a video is going on in the background like tuesday? And how long will it last, like 30 minutes?

I expect it'll be something like that, some gameplay showing and someone demonstrating some of the features. Not sure how long it will be. I would hope at least 30 minutes.

I expect it to be a full run down of the only thing EA kept from the scrapped MMO idea, the character creation.

Of any MMO, this is a huge part of the game - to be able to make a character that looks unique from everyone else. So we're going to see that CAS is actually very robust and Sims will be quite customizable. (Though I have no idea why there would be so few clothing options).

So, they're going to sell us on the fact that you can now make the most unique Sims of any Sims game ever!

I just don't like Ryan in "Advertise" mode.It feels so forced. He also lied - there are no Bald Sims in TS4 CAS demo. He had a story and everything...
