Hey, this is great. Quick question? Is it possible to do some flavors and make the DoF less extreme? I rather like the DoF but feel it's a bit too harsh. I always found the crisp, clear horizon in TS3 to be a little odd to my artistic eye. Not game breaking but odd.

If it's not possible, not really a big deal, but I thought I'd ask. I'm really happy you are modding for TS4. Your mods have been so helpful for me through TS3 and TSM.

Question, is the DOF simply an overlay of some kind that can be removed or does this mod actually render more things which would have an impact on the game performance? Either way, this is certainly an appreciated mod!

Yes because that doesn't remove the blur.

@airstyle:
I don't think the DoF is an overlay but more like a camera setting. It doesn't appear to me that more stuff is being rendered in the distance, but I really don't know if this blur function cuts away half of the pixels (for example) on stuff further away, such that rendering is more difficult when turning it off. So I really bon't know.

@christmas fear:
I've alway had the View Distance set to high in the game and the DoF is blurring away everything, so yes.

@MoxieGraphix:
I think it can be done yes, but I would prefer an exact description of how the game should look. The blur should be starting not as close to the current sim, the distance for "start blur" pushed back? Or the blur strength overall should be reduced? In the far distance, the blur strength should be the same or not as much blur?
