Greetings DH,

Since Michelle is unavailable at the moment for you, I am going to do my best to justify our decisions in pricing these lamps.

The package for a Maxis "Lost & Found" object is fragmented and resources are, more often than not, missing or as stated "unfinished". The OBJD (Object Data as you may know it) which contain the pricing breakdown received from the initial catalog price, is not usually a resource that is included, nor can it be "found". The missing resources must be cloned from an appropriate file of another similar working object. This sometimes requires a great deal of research on our parts to "get it right". The best plan in this case was to "Google" the original IKEA lamps from which they were designed. We were then able to discover a realistic price for the lamps as designed and sold by IKEA and as Maxis would have intended, including, but not limited to, "sale markdowns" for an item which is being discontinued. As they are crafted from paper and steel, these prices seemed in line with the real, original lamps as designed by IKEA. However, in some cases, Creators must fly by the seat of their pants and try and make an educated guess, based on the WAG theory, as nothing is available for comparison. I hope this answers your question in a way that I think you can appreciate and hopefully respect.

BTW, we did not have to assign the names of the lamps because Maxis had already done that part. So the lamps, and the style thereof, are authentic to IKEA!

Have a good Evening,
Debra

Thank you. I asked because my initial reaction was that they looked too nice to be that cheap.

I think I have a Lyra lamp in my Downloads already but it's only in white. I like your recolours. So I think I'll take out the first version I have and use yours. Thanks.

This has been brought to our attention, but we do not think the DUNO lamp has been extracted before. These lamps are Base game compatible and recolourable, too.

Thank you for the support!

Thank you! I'm trying to find only a FEW CC pieces; things which will not bore me when I've built my 20th house, and will not fill up my files so much that I can't play the game for lag. (<---ADHD). These are great!
