@Annaminna
Select your Sedona and put the cursor at the end and hit the space bar and then enter the hood or put a period at the end and enter the hood.
Now you can put in this new Sedona and you can have fun with it.

I've had some time the last few days, so I've been playing this quite a bit. I'm going to give this whole thing away, so yes I know how to use spoiler tags.
Since all four of them are different despite all of them about to have alien twins, different things happened to them.
I first played Aaron Atkins, who had twins Alexander and Alexandria. He had virtually no interest in caring for the children except for the autonomous actions that are coded into the game. Since he found work as a golf caddy, he was extremely tired when he was home and many times would simply sleep on the couch instead of upstairs where he could tend to the babies. The social worker comes to relieve him of the burden of parenting.
Next was Jared Spurlock. He has twins Taylor (girl) and Justin (boy), when he realizes that two children would be a bit much. So, thanks to Inge's Teleporter, Justin goes up for adoption. Taylor is currently a child and just completed her first day of school. Jared is also friends with most of the scant few people in the neighborhood, including some of the NPCs that the Apartment Life EP throw in.
Tarek Lari is next. He has two boys, Toby and Tory. The first weekend, Tarek rolled wants to train Toby and Tory, and does absolutely wonderful at doing so. I played them through to two days until childhood, and everything is good.
The last house I played was obviously Phil Collensworth (an older family member who peered over my shoulder mentioned the name reminded them of Phil Collins, dunno if that was intentional or not). He spent most of his time playing computer games, so much so that his hunger bar dropped to zero. Phil, this version of the neighborhood hardly knew ye.
I may add an orphanage house populated with the children put up for adoption, using the teleporter, and age them up to teens as soon as the three remaining children reach that age. It would also add a few extra adults to the neighborhood as orphanage staff.

*Edited to not give away results of the births*
First of all, I LOVE this neighborhood. Great idea for a neighborhood story.
I settled in some of my own alien sims and started in on the single men that came with the town. My goal: to get each one fixed up with a live-in roommate before they give birth, preferably with a romantic partner but not required, so that each would have some help raising those kiddos.
Tarek and Phil started off by each using their telescopes by day (you would have though at least Tarek would have learned his lesson, but no) and each was apparently spying on the other and so now they are enemies and fight all over town.
I haven't got to the other men yet.
Tarek had his trashcan kicked over, probably by Phil, was swarmed with roaches, stomped them despite my instructing him to spray (I think he went back and stomped the survivors), came down with a virulent case of roach-flu and almost died.
He sold one of his toilets to pay for the exterminator..long story why THAT became necessary . He met a cute tentacled woman who somehow got stuck on him despite their only having one lightning bolt of attraction and convinced her to move in JUST moments before giving birth. He wants to marry a RICH sim..not the poor tentacled cutie helping him out. She moved in with enough money to replace the toilet at least. Her abusive brother stops by daily to kick over the trashcan..taking turns with Phil. For some reason, a skunk has been hanging around their house also and has so far sprayed two innocent visitors. Tarek has wishes for unwanted visitors such as Phil and the abusive brother of his girlfriend to be sprayed by that skunk.
With the roach infestations, the mean "guard-skunk" and the belligerent walk-bys, Tarek's house is becoming "the bad part of town".
Tarek still hasn't been able to find the exact job he wants. Birth happened and his girlfriend pays more attention to the result than he does. Tarek doesn't think about family..he wants money and fine things. He is scornful of every decor item purchased so far and wants to replace his heart-of-gold girlfriend as well with someone more "valuable"
I don't really like him much at this moment and thinking about finding a better partner for his girlfriend once the family is a bit further along. I might reward her with "lottery winnings" and a new house of her own for putting up with him. She wants to marry him but I don't think I will let that happen, nor will I send her back to live with her jerk brother.
Phil's situation a lot better. He got the job he wanted day one, met the sister of Tarek's tentacled cutie as part of the welcome wagon and asked her on a date within moments of meeting her. After that dream date at the gas station she moved in with him and they both rolled wishes to marry each other well before he had his "result". He has been promoted once so far. I made a few slightly more romantic lots for them to go to on dates.
Tomorrow I get to the other two men.
Thanks for making this town..enjoying it.

I just started playing it over the weekend, had a day with each man - ain't they cute???? //I found them all jobs and am looking forward to the alien babies! All of them threw up and had to clean the toilet. Tarek met the other three; they all seem to like him the most. No drama yet, but it is early days

Just remember there are no townies outside of the npc that get gen-up while playing.

Since there's a note that everyone's still interested in feedback about the neighborhood, here goes:
Anyway, I hit a roadblock in my gameplay of this one as the parents that are still parents now have child-age children, are out of paid vacation days, and in fact want to go to work in their respective jobs. Yet since I don't use a mod to keep them from not going to work when there's no other adult around (and I'd like to avoid using one of those neurotic sitters the game generates) or the Social Worker from taking them away, I'm thinking of adding some extra Sims to the neighborhood and moving or even teleporting them in with the families. Part of me says create someone (or something) that won't lead to a population explosion. Or I could just break down, call the sitter, and maybe use "make selectable" so it's a bit more bearable. This seems like one of those situations where not having Ultimate Collection limits things.
Thought I'd add that I solved my own problem by just calling the Nanny (I called them a "sitter," ), making sure the kids were fed before the parents left for work, and rotated the refrigerator so the nanny couldn't empty the kitchen before their work was over. The kids are now all teens so I won't have that problem anymore!

You wont get any townies because it was made in an empty environment game setup but if you unhide all the other templates then you will get them the first time you run the hood to play after you unhide them.
You will get all the Downtonies, Social Class Townies, etc. once you undide the templates.

Downtownies only appear when you have a downtown subhood attached to your neighborhood. They won't appear on their own unless you generate them using the mailbox.

I took the unihabited and made it into a medieval hood. The inhabited I will install later
I also intend to attach it (both empty and inhabited) as shopping districts! Strangetown say goooodbye to Bluewater Village lol

Yes, you're right.
But we placed cactus trees into the neighborhood and as you know, cactus trees don't grow in Europe. Of course there are greenhouses that have cactus trees but normally/naturally cactus trees only exist in America.
So it's probably a colony or it used to be one.
Well, Sedona does not necessarily need to be on our Earth.

A sim year has 20 days, not 365... So the SimEarth would be closer to the sun and the SimSun would probably be smaller than our sun.

First, I played Phil Collensworth, got him a job in the medical career and he gave birth to twins, Collin and Gina
Next, I played Tarek Lari, got him a job in the business career, and he had twins, Androsi and Ana. I drew their names from a list of Georgian names because Lari is apparently a surname of Georgian origin
Next, I played Jared Spurlock, who became a criminal and had twins, Sid and Kurt (named for Sid Vicious and Kurt Cobain because I thought that'd fit his rebel persona)
Last, I played Aaron Atkins, who got a job in the porn career, and had twins, Andrew and Adam
The story I developed is that Sedona is a project of the alien homeworld to establish a colony on Earth. Because of this, the alien homeworld sent one of their birth queens, Xylene Terrano (who I created) to watch over the kids and their fathers. I also revived all the PTs and HD and Gliese are now engaged. Adam I plan on hooking up with Xylene.

Lots and lots and lots of cactus trees, many native, grow in South Africa (and most probably in other parts of Africa as well).

Well I changed the terrain to temperate with the terrainType Temperate cheat. And I am replacing the trees. All of my meieval lots were downloaded from here XD I am so excited. I am making this town be an...experiment of sorts... See I can't do default replacement NPCs and whatnot because then ALL my 'hoods will have that...I mean I guess that wouldn't be horrible but it would be kinda weird So it's an experiment to see if modern Sims can live like back in the olden days. Unless I do default replacements, then it looks weird to have modern NPCs in a non modern setting. So it's like a reality show challenge or whatever. Idk lol or I could really just say it's in the past and ignore all the NPCs...
ANYWAY, I just attached an inhabited Sedona as a shopping district to Strangetown! I can't wait to introduce all the new genetics to my overflowing small town which is dangerously close to inbreeding

@DizzyBoo,
Perhaps you'd like to speak with @joandsarah77 about the default replacements - she came up with a system where she has multiple Sims 2 folders in the Documents folder, and she just renames it to the proper name when she wants to play her medieval hood. I don't do a very good job explaining it, since I don't have the need for that, but maybe she can explain it better to you.

I have thought of that. Making a new downloads folder with just medieval stuff. Then switching each time. Renaming them means the game won't recognize it...right?
