Default 2019 Mods
Hello, i was wondering if there is someone or a mod creator that still creates mods in 2019 for the sims 3, i know it is an old game now and people goes for The sims 4 but for me sims 3 is the best and when i see all those sims 4 mods like drugs, health check, period etc...

I know it is possible to have the same for sims 3 but no one seems to be in that mood anymore so,maybe some ts4 conversion like pills bcuz sims 3 version is not up to date, or new interactions like more realistic birth or illness, acne mod for teens, add more interaction on hospital mods i dont know, having prescription or brace operation by tweaking the plastic surgery one if i had the ability i would do everything but i am not that clever^^

if you have some infos or maybe you will be anoyed like me and someone will pop up and create new extra mod for Us i would pay loool but yeah ^^

Add your suggestions, share your ideas

You could go to the Mod the Sims website, and look through the Sims 3 downloads.

IF there is something specific, there the Where Can I find Thread.

I did a quick google search and I found some of the mods you were looking for:
- Period/Menstrual Cycle: KinkyWorld
- There are many drug mods out there. I think KinkyWorld has some drug-related options. There's this one and of course University Life has "herbs" which some of them function like drugs.
- There's no acne mod, but there are tons of zits/pimples CC as makeup. With those and NRaas Dresser' Makeup -> Random makeup reroll, there's a chance some Sims will "develop" acne when the this mod rerolls outfits. I'm pretty sure @igazor, our NRaas mod expert, will be able to explain it better than me.

There are lots of mods out there, you just have to look for them. Google is your friend.

Not sure we are exactly what the OP was looking for, our mods might show up a bit lower on the excitement scale from what they are currently seeking. Not that we would ever say such a thing ourselves, of course. Error trapping, data trash collection, orderly and customizable story progression, bakery display management, and sim world travel protection can be very sexy topics of conversation, in certain circles. But anyway, NRaas Vector does offer a pretty decent worldwide disease simulator.

I can't be the one to explain Dresser as I've never used it. I don't frighten easily, at least not digitally, but frankly that mod scares me. Anything progression, genetics, or town population related and I'm all over it, no problem in fixing up any mistakes or things that just don't go as expected along the way using the proper tools. But change everyone's wardrobes in town, or have the potential to, and I'm hiding under my desk quivering in fear (or something like that). There are other players, here and more so at NRaas, who might be able to assist better.

Afraid we can't really recommend the Kinky mod. Besides not being compatible with much of NRaas to the extent that it renders NRaas mods unsupportable for ongoing games that have ever been played with the mod in place, it is so unrefined programmatically that it tends to cause ongoing games to fall apart much faster than players would like. And it is not removable without triggering the need to start all of one's games over again.

I used Dresser once, I probably set it up wrong, but it slapped random accessories and strange shirt/bottom combos. I'd change the outfit only for Dresser to randomise it again. I'll have to look at it again properly.

The drop off has been made. You've been warned.

Kinky mod does conflict with a lot of Nrass mods, but I use them and Kinky mod. I use MC, Register, and Overwatch. Register can conflict with Kinky mod, because Kinky mod adds NPC to your game for various "kinky" interactions. However I only use Register to keep animals out of the world. If you're playing a city world, you don't need Register. Also with overwatch you have to make sure you disable clean up outfits, because Kinky mod has a built in outfit manager. I haven't used Story Progression with Kinky mod, but I rarely use that mod anyway. Mastercontroller doesn't conflict at all with Kinky mod, I've been using both for the past year. Kinky mod allows you to grow marijuanna and sell it, and make other "explicit" drugs as well with the scientific table from generations. You can also open a brothel, start a internet web cam career, a porn acting career, and a modeling career as well.. I'm actually using Kinky Mod currently with the new Boroughsburg world, and I haven't had any problems, it plays great in that world honestly, because the world is so small.

Kinky Mod will mess up your games. The que won't work with books, the LTWs and dreams get messed up, it causes lock ups unless you shut half of the "features" down (e.g. peeping tom causes stuck sim)... It's totally not worth it and once you take it out, all your saves will be screwed up. Even worlds you made with CAW when you had KW installed will be messed up.
This is based on my personal experience and testing. YMMV.

Kinky mod hasn't messed up my game. But I only play certain saves with Kinky mod. You shouldn't start a save if you're unsure you're going to keep the mod with that save, because yes it will mess up that particular save. But not the actual game. I haven't had the que won't work with books (may be a conflict with another mod), also none of my sims are stuck using the peeping tom interaction.. If you have overwatch in your game it will fire off false stuck sims because it's reading the NPC doing the interaction as a error. I use the Patreon version though, so she has corrected many of those issues. I haven't played the public version of Kinky mod in quite some time. I like the mod personally, it adds a boatload of new gameplay. I also turn off a lot of the interactions as well because a lot of the elements that come with the mod, I don't necessarily need. But the drug aspect, and being able to run a brothel are the best parts of the mod for me.

Dresser is a bit hard to tame. You need a blacklist or whitelist file that some hero made and shared, and that file didn't seem to transfer to the new nraas website, IIRC. I believe making the file yourself involves checking CAS items in CAS and noting their numbers, and putting those in a file.

The Dresser blacklist and whitelist template files, if these are the ones being referenced (sorry, I wouldn't know by looking at them myself if they were the correct files) along with many of the mods' tuning files were a little late to make it over to the new NRaas site, but have been available on its file manager since I think November. Click on the "Upload" button to get the file manager overlay and sort by file name to see them. I am sure there are broken file download links within the tutorials though that still need to be cleaned up properly.

Are you right-clicking to open in a new tab (that won't work)? It's a scripted overlay.

Could be a browser issue though. Does this work for you?

Or these?
