Rare Maxis Sims
Did anyone ever have the Elle Woods sim, as mentioned here (4:50 onwards)?https://youtu.be/j1t6Ov61a4k?t=297
There are some other lost Maxis items on this list (bottom) too:

As of MMXXIV, not yet, I'm afraid! It is safe to say that it is ridiculous how far we've gone in the sense of obtaining old assets related to the making (which, in theory, could only be found at the bottom of the d33p w3b) yet the one of profoundest rarity is one that, once upon a time, one received as a bonus treat! The Sims was the best-selling PC game of its time, which makes it even weirder that the file did not survive the tests of time, especially considering the intrinsical pretty-girls-do-not-gatekeep philosophy of most fans!
If you dumpster-dive into the archived URL index of the North-American localization of the long-gone ts1 website at the Wayback Machine, you will see that it returns myriads of addresses, including one that might also be where users could get (something that *potentially* was) Elle Woods from, given that its filename is the same as the Amazon bonus gift: http://thesims.ea.com/us/downloads/...ar_download.exe.
Sadly, this is one of the unlucky instances where someone/something archived the vestiges of that specific address after the original website was already down (2012), which renders it fully useless and not palpable enough to be accessed as intended.
I'm positive we'll find her sometime. =)

I've made some mods for The Sims 1 -- yes, The Sims ONE :-) -- which you can find at http://corylea.com/Sims1ModsByCorylea.html

Ah, I saw Kirce's video too and wondered that ─really strange the Elle Woods sim has seemingly disappeared. Wonder if somebody had it anyway tee hee. As always, really good aportation, @LUCPIX!!!
@Corylea, now you mention it, I'm not sure if the Birthday Cake it refers is the one that came with House Party or a download that was on a web named Sim Millenium ─that's not actually lost, somebody from an old Spanish-speaking forum dowloaded it (Sims-extremos), and I was fortunate enough to not have lost it. I shared it on this forum on this thread: https://modthesims.info/showthread....hlight=birthday . If that's the case, it's not lost ─I'm aware some other people have it too.

Thanks, ed it's probably refering to the birthday cake vaguely mentioned here, seemingly made in celebration of Computer Gaming World's 20th anniversary (and 200th issue), available as a cd-rom exclusive object. Wow, seems like we got something unique in our hands here, right?! You can go ahead and browse for this specific cd-rom on archive.org's software library and find out it's in reality the so-called "House Party cake". Meh! Not to say they were lazy and recycled an object that had already been available elsewhere — I think that the cake in fact saw the light of the day for the first time as something made with CGW in mind only, and was later featured as a "canon" object for all the subsequent EPs, starting with House Party. All the Maxis objects that the EP installers extract to our /Downloads/ directory (slot machine, the earliest wall lamps, xmas cookies, llama/dolphin/skyscraper/.../ plants, mistletoe, roses, party balloons, guinea pig cage, hula girl lamp...) were originally released as free online goodies.

Thanks @marka93 I think that's just the link from when you could preorder? I think it was linked also in the video I mentioned in the first post. I didn't get my Sims 1 games from Amazon so I don't have it in my purchase history.
